Sony new standard in analog security camera performance
Leading the new line-up, Sony’s SSC-G213, SSC-N13, SSC-N14, and SSC-N24 come equipped with the new Exview™ HAD CCD II, capturing 650TVL resolution in light as low as 0.01 lx. The high resolution results in greater visual clarity, while excellent sensitivity improves video quality in low-light conditions, when businesses are typically at greatest risk.
All of the new models feature ATR-Lite Adaptive Tone Reproduction, which retrieves greater detail in images by neutralizing both high and low luminance areas bright sunlight and dark shadows, for example, to produce an image of great clarity. iBLC helps improve visibility in low lit areas, while ATW ensures accurate white balance is maintained in changing lighting conditions. Together, these technologies create the cleanest, most accurate images available in the analog market. The new cameras also help save on energy consumption without sacrificing performance. Power consumption ranges from just 0.9w to 1.7w – perfect for those seeking to “green up” their operations and cut operating costs.
Blending in with the environment is equally important, and the SSC-N-series mini-domes will easily go unnoticed thanks to their compact size. The new three-hinge structure makes it easy to adjust the camera angle, giving greater flexibility and eliminating any difficulty in positioning them discreetly. Its small form factor makes it incredibly easy and fuss-free to install.
“The family of analog security cameras we are launching deliver the technological excellence Sony is known for, but in an extremely compact and energy efficient package,” said Yoshikazu Hirano, General Manager for Security Solutions Asia Pacific, Professional Solutions Company (PSAP), Sony Electronics Asia-Pacific. “Offering two form factors such as the mini-dome and box, and a wide range of features, including high resolutions, zoom lenses, excellent colour, B/W sensitivity, and more, Sony is effectively meeting the security needs of virtually every business and organisation in the region. The new cameras will be launched at Secutech 2011, Taiwan’s largest electronic security exhibition, taking place from April 20-22, 2011 at the Nangang Taipei World Trade Centre in Taipei, Taiwan. These products and the rest of Sony’s security technologies will be on display at booth K808-K813.
